Gas Appliances - Are You Putting Yourself at Risk?

Every year HHT has its gas appliances serviced and tested for safety. This keeps them in good working order but it is also a legal requirement, done to ensure tenants are safe from carbon monoxide poisoning and the risk of explosion from gas leaks.

We try to get this essential work done with minimum inconvenience to tenants. Our contractors are asked to give everyone good advance notice of the work and the chance to make individual appointments, using free phone numbers.

Each year, though, there is a minority of tenants who, for whatever reason, make it difficult for our contractors to get access – putting both themselves and others at risk. To these people we say PLEASE help us to keep you – and others – safe.
